Gavi’s first understanding of design as a presence in everyday life occurred as she and her dad visited small towns in her native state of NH. Her interest in design grew as she saw how people interacted with design in their homes. Some of this year's design focuses for her are old favorites: soft goods and kitchen enhancements.
