My senior thesis, Red Wave, is a dual focus project with the goal of progressing green biotech. The focus of this project is on Newport, Rhode Island's seaweed mismanagement as well as researching and testing the uses of seaweed based materials. The hope is to create a green material that can be made for manufacturing that in turn will close the seaweed loop in Newport.
