My senior thesis focuses on human-cat relationships. Through my research I found owners and cats to lack understanding and trust in one another, preventing the development of fulfilling bonds, further fueling society’s stigmas of cats. “Purrch” is a furniture piece that helps foster the growth of rewarding relationships by encouraging interaction in a calm shared space.
